This new line of batteries is the result of continuous investment in research, associated with more than 50 years of experience in development of battery technology. The MOURA Boat Battery can be used for both starting and service, providing high standards of durability and performance in both applications.

Batteries have two distinct functions in a boat: the start and the service. The first is used to start the boat engine, and is designed to provide a high electric current in a short span of time; it is the same type of battery used to start the engine in a car.

The service battery is used to supply power to the boat's electric utilities, such as internal lights, radio, GPS, radar, microwave oven, fridge and other consumption items, usually through an inverter. This kind of battery was not produced in Brazil until this new launch by MOURA Batteries.
