Make sure that when you start the engine, all electric equipment (air conditioner, lighthouses, CD player, radio, amplifier etc.) are turned off.

Keep the cable terminals well pressed and in good conditions.

An unusual smell coming from the battery, overheating, or solution drops, normally indicate problems in the voltage regulator.

Make sure that the electric equipment is not turned on for too long, while the vehicle is off.

Before removing the battery, check if the vehicle has equipment with security codes such as alarm, radio, etc. In that case, you should have the codes around to be able to reactivate them after the battery exchange.

The ISO 9001 and 14001Certifications, two Volkswagen Awards for Product Quality, and other five Merit Store Prizes are some of the awards won by MOURA Batteries. The company is also proud of receiving in 2001, the Ford World Excellence Award and the Autop of Mind, among other prizes.

Quality Certification – Quatro Rodas Magazine

Awarded in 1995 based on the results gotten from the tests carried through for the Quatro Rodas Magazine, in accordance with specifications of the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms (ABNT). Granted by the Nucleus of Technological Research of the University of Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo.

ISO Certification 14001 – 2003

This certification was awarded by the Quatro Rodas Magazine based on the results from tests and in accordance to specifications of the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms (ABNT). Research and tests were granted by the Technological Research Nucleus of the University of Mogi das Cruzes, in São Paulo.

ISO Certification / TS 16949 – 2003

The certification incorporates all ISO 9001 pre-requisites, along with other rigorous specifications established by the main car manufacturers. This certification is a global reference, and necessary to all companies in the automotive original equipment market.

ISO 9001

MOURA Batteries was the first car battery company in Brazil to receive, in 1995, the certification of the American Bureau of Shipping Quality Evaluations (ABS). ISO 9001 guarantees the total quality of the products developed, from projects to technical assistance.

QS 9000

The QS 9000 is a set of qualification norms conferred after following rigorous norms developed by the main American automobile assembly plants. Awarded in 1999, the certification incorporates all ISO 9001 pre-requisites, along with other proper specifications.

Quality Excellence - Ford Motor Company Q1 Certification

Certification of Quality necessary to all main suppliers of car manufacturers. The 1996 and 2000 editions of the prize were won by MOURA Batteries.
