Autop of Mind Award - Segment of Workshop Repairmen (1999 and 2001) and Consumers (2001)
Award created to select which industries of the automobile segment have been more distinguished in the relationship between customers and repairmen. The winners were chosen from interviews with automobile owners and owners of mechanical workshops in São Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Fortaleza, Curitiba, and Brasilia. The prize was granted by the specialized magazine, “Mais Automotive”.
Prominence Award - Supplying Chemical Group
The award was given in retribution to MOURA Batteries´ initiative of offering the first silver league battery to consumers in Brazil, and for the constant improvement of its products´ quality. The recognition was made by the Autodata Magazine, who interrogated journalists in the automobile sector to see what they thought were successful cases, companies, entrepreneurs, and executives in 2001.

According to research made by InterScience, MOURA Batteries was the automobile-device company that had the greatest growth in image in 2002, when it went from the 19th to the 12th position in the ranking of most admired brands. Among the evaluation criteria were the strength and desirability of the brand, quality of products and services, innovation, community and environmental responsibility, commitment to Brazil´s development, ethics, and respect to the consumer.
Master in Science and Technology Award
The prize awarded by the Institute of Studies and Research of Quality (IQ) in 2001, is the result of research made by specialized journalists, consultants, university members, managers, and entrepreneurs from Brazil.
Best Performance – FIAT
Awarded to MOURA Batteries in 1989, the prize is granted to the suppliers that have achieved distinction according to the criteria and requirements established by Fiat.
Volkswagen Award for Product Quality
Awarded by Volkswagen to the companies who thrive in product quality and customer service. MOURA Batteries won the award in 1999 and 2000, as the best brand in the electrical category. Also, a special honorable mention was granted to MOURA Batteries, classified as “The Best Between The Best”.
